Edible learning garden
To further the mission of Woodland's Dinner On Main, we've partnered with the City of Woodland to create an edible community garden. This extension of our cause further promotes locally based agriculture through education, community outreach, and networking.
serving the community
Grow & Donate Produce
With the help of community volunteers and youth groups, we will plant seasonal produce and harvest them to be delivered to local charities like Fourth and Hope, Yolo Food Bank, The Food Closet, and the Children’s Farmer’s Market.
Encourage Biodiversity
The flowering plants in our garden are a gift to our local pollinators. Not only is our garden an oasis for humans, but for local bees, butterflies, and birds alike. The more diversity they can find in their food sources, the healthier their populations become, and the better our gardens grow!
Gathering Space
This space is a resource for community and non-profit events. Woodland’s Dinner on Main holds a few events in the garden, including a happy hour, a cooking competition, educational classes, as well as private events hosted by their Abundant Bounty sponsors.
